How long does the ceremony take?
A ceremony can take between 5 minutes to 45 minutes, depending on many factors and traditions.
Can we speak with a wedding officiant before we reserve?
Yes, feel free to give me a call and I will gladly answer all your questions.
Do we need to memorize our vows?
No, I will feed your vows to you, one word at a time.
What time does the wedding officiant arrive for the ceremony?
This depends on your wedding package, it could be between 30 minutes to 45 prior to the ceremony.
Do I have to pay for Travel Expenses?
If your wedding is outside the city limits or in a different city. You will be quoted before you agree to hire my services.
Is a gratuity expected?
No, but you can express your gratitude by sending a thank you card with a picture of the ceremony and by referring me to your friends and family members and giving me a review on YELP.
Will we be legally married?
Yes, California allows a priest, minister, rabbi, or authorized person of any religious denomination to solemnize a marriage. I am licensed to marry couples anywhere in California.
Can our kids take part in the wedding ceremony?
Yes, I encourage it. Talk to me about involving your kids in the ceremonies and ask for ideas on how to do just that.
Does the wedding officiant stay for dinner etc?
I would like to but usually I have another wedding ceremony or another appointment to go to. But you can ask me, when the time comes.
What if our wedding is running behind schedule?
It is understandable that a wedding can be behind schedule at times. That is why I always give my couples an hour of my schedule time to conduct your wedding ceremony.
I do not want to be mean about it, but if your wedding does go beyond an hour after the wedding was suppose to start, you will be billed $15.00 for each additional 15 minutes thereafter for waiting.
(1-15 minutes) $15.00
(16-30 minutes) $30.00
(31-45 minutes) $45.00
(46-60 minutes) $60.00
Etc.
