Valentine’s Day Wedding by

Wedding Officiant Zeke

Valentine’s Day February 14th, is the best day to get married on. Let me explain why.

So many people comment on Valentine’s Day being cheesy or over romantic, or a corporate scam to make boyfriends spend more on their girlfriends, but Saint Valentine’s Day carries a great message behind it.

Saint Valentine was slain because he broke the law, the law forbidding men to marry. Marriage was outlawed in Valentine’s Day because the king didn’t want men distracted by love (it’s so distracting isn’t it!). Instead he wanted them on the battlefield fighting and dying for their country.

Father Valentine, as he was then known, broke the rules and continued to marry people in secret. When he was found out he was sentenced to death and we celebrate Valentine’s Day now because we think that falling in love and getting married is a pretty darn good idea. We also recognise that it’s not an easy thing to do, fall in love that is, so when it happens it ought be celebrated!

So out of all of the cheese romantic lovely days to get married on, Valentine’s Day seems like a pretty good choice.

Plus you’ll never forget your wedding anniversary.

”Marry You”

Why Not Get Married On

Valentines Days

Valentine’s Day- February 14th, what a better day to get married!

Couples getting engaged on Valentine's Day is the most romantic possible way to take their relationship to the next level, while for others, the holiday is a substitute for a more creative, personalized marriage proposals. With the proper planning, this holiday can be a romantic and memorable day for any couple about to be engaged.

But for other couples on Valentines Day, I have performed many ceremonies since my start up in 2015. I know that February 14th is a popular day to get married so why not make it a special day for the two of you. I will travel to you anywhere in the city limits of Bakersfield (Home, Park or Venue) and perform the wedding ceremony. Each couple’s wedding will not last more than 30 minutes and can be held in the presents of family and friends or in confidential. Invite whoever you want as well someone to take pictures.

Interested couples in getting married on Valentines Day, must purchase a Marriage License from the County Clerks office before getting married..

There are two common types of marriage licenses available in the State of California: a Public License and a Confidential License.

Call me (661) 496-6679 to reserve your time.
